Hi there! My name is Jody! I am a wife, mama, and own the Fabric Shoppe! I love to find BEAUTY in EVERYDAY life! I hope to inspire you here with fabrics, tutorials, recipes, and crafty inspiration! Stop back often and enjoy!
Pam at Mommy and Me Embroidery sent me this cute outfit. It is made with Amy Butler fabrics from the shoppe. The tiny pants look so comfy like yoga pants. I love the little matching booties and she even made a little rattle toy to match!
The nursery/ corner of our room is slowly coming along. I have filled the dresser with tons of clothes thanks to my friend Shawna, and shower gifts! The clothes are so little i can' t imagine that they would fit anybody. The changing table is all set complete with its own little basket of paci's. I am currently working on art for the wall. Which i am very excited about. I will post that soon!
This baby has not let me sleep much lately. I just can't get comfortable. I guess that is good practice for what is to come! Anyways when the clock finally reaches a reasonable time i am happy to get up. It has been ususally around 5:30 or 6! That's early! It is nice to have some time in the morning, it is very peaceful. This morning i enjoyed a good breakfast and some coffee (decaf of course).
One of my favs lately is this steel cut oatmeal. Highly recommend --right C-Pie!! It takes a bit longer to cook, but has a great texture-- you never end up with mush. I will never go back to the regular oats. I think you can get it at Whole Foods but for the great deals you have to head to Trader Joes!
I had such a great time at our baby shower this weekend! Christy, Liz, Shawna, and Marissa know how to throw a party. The food was delicious, and it was nice to see family and friends. The girls stamped birthday cards for our baby from age 1-18 to open each year! My sister took some great pics with her fab camera!! We feel so blessed by all the gifts and support!
I got these cute cards at the dollar spot at Target. Such a great deal. They were a little plain but I love craft colored paper, and the dots and stripes were cute too. I decided to throw on some ribbon and stamp it up a little, and turned them into these thank you cards. I figure i can't have to many of these around especially with the baby on the way.
