How cute and eco friendly is this! A fabric lunch tote! I can see myself toting bananas and yogurt to work with this! She used Amy butlers wallflower in pink and the ever popular, and hard to get, Full moon polka dots in lime. You can find this tote and other fabric projects at Binski studio etsy shop!

I just received the new Pottery Barn catalog in the mail. I managed to page through it without drooling all over every single page. The new line of Baroque tableware caught my eye. It matches almost perfectly with Joel Dewberry's Rose Damask in Orange fabric. Can you imagine a beautiful table runner or napkins stuffed in wine glasses made out of this fabric to go along with these place settings. It would be a fun fall project that would be sure to impress your thanksgiving guests.
Anna Maria's new book is out! Seams to Me- 24 new reasons to love sewing!!! I have not gotten my copy yet but can't wait. I hear that as you read it you feel you are sitting in her studio as she is showing you each project. The photos look lovely and are credited to Anna Maria. It is a book of 24 hour projects for beginners to advanced. The projects include Sideways Squares Skirt, Prairie Blouse, Full Contact Cooking Apron, Playing Along Quilt and Doggie Dreams Bed. You can order a signed copy from her website here! You can also sign up for anothergigantic giveaway here. There is also a flickr pool for pics of completed projects...which is a little empty but will soon fill up!
After a busy week I finally had time to list Joel Dewberry's Home Dec weight fabrics in the ETSY shop. I love this line! These are 100% cotton mid weight sateen fabrics that are a generous 55" in width. The line reminds me a little of Dewberry's popular Aviary line. The heavier weight will work great for all those bags, clothes, and upholstery projects! Here are a few of the bundles I have listed in the shop. For an easy project planner click here to see the entire line!
How cute would these be in your hair? The first headband was made with fabrics from Heather Baileys new Pop Garden collection. The second from Amy Butler fabrics and the third from Anna Maria's Chocolate Lolipop line. They were handcrafted by Marisa, who says the elastic makes them so comfortable to wear all day long! You can find this and other beautiful items in her etsy shop: PurpleLicious!
I think this little patchwork bag is adorable. Since becoming a mom i have found that you can never have too many bags. Bags for diapers, bottles, used bottles, books, toys, YIKES! It was put together by Melissa for her son. She used Alexander Henrys Mod Dot on the right!
