Have you been in the baby toy aisle at Target? There are so many options! Who knew a 2 month old needed a fake cell phone to teach them colors and sounds! All the items claim to teach your child something. And you definitely don't want YOUR child to miss out on that learning opportunity! We have bought a few of the brightly colored items from that aisle but have found that she likes them for a bit but then back to her favorites.
Our big favorite right now is a bright orange handmade tag blanket. I carry it with us everywhere. She loves the bright color and probably the feel. I bought it on etsy.
Her second favorite is this flower toy by Lamaze. This one kept her attention even when she was really little with its songs. Both definitely worth the money!
