Here's a bit of what's going on at our house this week via grainy cell phone pics. I am linking up to Insta- Friday at Life Rearranged. You should too! It's fun!
Not a whole lot of exciting going on here this week! I cut open a few pumpkins i got for free from our whole foods coop after halloween! My 1.5 year old didn't mind digging in and getting all the seeds out. My three year old would have nothing to do with getting her hands dirty! They roasted seeds turned out pretty yummy!
I got a bunch of the most delicious carrots from my dads garden! They are so sweet! My little ones love to munch on them and we will have to try them in our juicer! Yumm!!
I found the first of the season fresh cranberries at the grocery store this week! I made a winter squash quinoa with cranberries in it! It is a mark bitman recipe i got from my "how to cook everything app"! It was delish and very healthy for you!:) What do you make with your cranberries?
Had a few moments yesterday to play a few games with my little one yesterday! We love this memory game! The artwork is beautiful! What are some of your favorite games with preschoolers?
And with my new frugal adventures I had a particularly good trip to Target this week! I even had my girls with me which i usually don't do if i am going couponing!:) We got a bunch of stuff for our Operation Christmas Child box and stocked up on some food for the holidays that was on sale. Total savings was $74.01! I spent $86.53. So almost 50% savings!! I use the Totally Target website to find all the weekly matchups to get those deals!
Speaking of frugal websites, one of my very favorite is Money Saving Mom. Crystal has the best ideas and I love her wilingness to share them along with online and store coupon savings. I received my advance copy of her new book in the mail this week. I will be reading and writing a review on the blog! It will be available in early 2012 and i know you are going to love it! Stay tuned for that!
So that's a bit of what is going on here this week! Be sure to leave a comment so I can hop on over to your site! Hope you have a blessed week!
Thanks for the link to the recipe site. Love it.
